JANUARY - MAY 1997 | Spends the second semester of her junior year as a foreign exchange student in Paris.
JUNE 1998 | Meets open face to face after ten years of exchanging letters.
JULY 1998 - AUGUST 1999 | Lives in Paris as she pursues her love of photography ; meets and has love affair with Deacon, but it ends when she has an abortion.
